What inspired you to become a Water Sommelier?
I enjoy sparkling water but I have many interests with other drinks. I an into wines, whiskeys, and other alcohols but I am really picky with them in respect. So I was really wanting to get a Certification in one of those but since I am picky with all of that I did not go any further. I saw Martin Riese on a program in the US called Sunday morning and saw him in regards to being a water sommelier, that was it for me. I said this is a perfect thing for me, one because it is very unique but also very few people have this.
What is your superpower?
N/A
Can you share a memorable experience you've had as a Water Sommelier?
Having people actually try different waters, at the beginning before everyone tasted the water selection, they all thought water was just water. After the taste testing and having them really try each of the levels, it opened all of their eyes as well as their opinions. In my office I have actually had other staff members stop drink the bottled tap water crap and now they are drinking fine natural waters.

something fun to talk about and promote.
What do you believe is the future of the Water Sommelier profession?
I truly believe that we, as Water Sommeliers, will play a huge role in Hospitality and Water Industry. Mainly by educating and participating in water projects all over the world. Galaxies are the limit when it comes to water, and we are the ones who will guide people through this beautiful concept and make sure they respect and comprehend the importance of water in our lifes.
How do you think valuing water contributes to a more sustainable future?
I think over time as more people become more aware of the water that they are drinking our group is going to be needed. Right now I think its needed but being missed because of many reasons but the big one is ignorance.
What else would you like to share with the community?
